Allan joined Read Across Africa when we opened our doors in 2015. He loved the library and participated fully in both the After School and Holiday Programs.
He scored 406 points out of 500 in the 8th Grade exam and was admitted to Maranda High School. Because he was supported through high school, he focused on his studies and extra-curricular activities. He scored an A- Average in his final.
Allan is a leader. He is thriving at the University and is always looking for new opportunities. As part of the first group that left Kisumu for Nairobi, he ensures that he supports the new students as they arrive and settle in Universities around Nairobi.
